V12 standards are delivered with with fibreglass carbone blades (Texalium aspect), straight shaft Carbon medium (ovalized tube) and Drip rings. Options are listed below allowing you to customized your V12 paddle.

What is the type of program of the V12 ?

The V12 is a High Angle product, which means that it will deliver the highest efficiency in a low vertical stroke, close to the boat.

Are there several blade sizes available for the V12 ?

Yes, There are two sizes available for the V12 :

  • Medium for short builds.
  • Large for stronger builds.

What materials are the blades of the V12 made of ?

The blades of the V12 are made in fiberglass carbon prepreg.

What is the standard feather of the V12 ?

We recommend, for the V12, a 60° right or left angle, according to your preferences. This 60° feather is "Standard" for sea kayak paddles. However, you can order your paddle with a custom feather , with no extra charge. (The feather is the degree angle of the paddle blades are off-set to each other)

Is the V12 delivered with a paddle grip and drip rings ?

Yes, the V12 is delivered with a paddle grip built in the shaft and a pair of drip rings.

What are the shafts available for the V12 ?

The V12 is only available with a straight shaft. However, you can choose among 3 different shaft hardness for your V12, from soft to hard :

  • Carbon soft
  • Kevlar carbone
  • Carbon medium

Can I have an ergonomic bent shaft on my V12 ?

No, the ergonomic bent shaft is only available in “High Angle” version on the carbon version or Crossover.

What are the advantages of the different adjusting systems available on the V12 ?

You can choose among several options on your V12:

  • Fixed or Mono : This option means that you have no displaceable adjusting system on your V12. The length is fixed.This fixed system is recommended in Wave Ski, as the paddle is really short and comes close to the knees.
  • Vario S-Lock System : The Vario S-Lock can be adjusted over 10 cm, with an infinite choice of feathers. It also enables you to adjust your paddle with more precision. This option is recommended for all the paddle-users who want to customize their V12 as much as possible. (The feather is the degree angle of the paddle blades are off-set to each other)
  • Fast Lock System : The Fast-Lock can be adjusted over 9 cm, by 3 cm intervals. It enables you to quickly adjust the length of the paddle without altering the feather. This option is recommended for all the paddle-users who want to have a take-down paddle without having to think about the feather.
