Entirely designed in fiberglass, the FIRST is a versatile leisure paddle. Ideal for beginners, its adjustable fiberglass shaft smoothly transfers power, in "Sit on Top" as well as in "Sit in".

What is the type of program of the First ?
The FIRST is a versatile paddle for beginners, which means that it can be used in any Low Angle or High Angle program.
Are there several blade sizes available for the First ?
No, there is only one size of blade available for the First.
What materials are the blades of the First made of ?
The blades of the First are made in 100% fiberglass prepreg.
What is the standard feather of the First ?
We recommend, for the First, a 60° right or left, according to your preferences. This 60° angle is standard for sea kayak paddles. However, you can order your paddle with a custom feather, with no extra charge. The feather is the angle of degree the paddle blades are off-set to each other.
Is the First delivered with a paddle grip and drip rings ?
Yes, the First is delivered with a paddle grip built in the shaft and a pair of drip rings.
What are the shafts available for the First ?
The First is only available with a fiberglass straight shaft , equipped with the Fast-Lock system.
What are the advantages of the Fast-lock system on the First ?
The Fast-Lock can be adjusted over 9 cm, by 3 cm intervals. It enables you to quickly adjust the length of the paddle without altering its feather.
