Select Paddle Technology

The Select products, inspired by aeronautical technologies, rely on 3 essential phases in their manufacturing processes : 

  • • Components : A paddle is a very technical piece, made in top of the range, hard-wearing composite materials (Carbon, Kevlar and Fiberglass). Select only manufactures pre-preg paddles, thanks to a technique called mastered amount of resin. This techno-logy from the aircraft industry means steadiness and reliability for our products.
  • • Molding : The use of metal molds enables us to make perfect geometries and firing.
  • • Assembling : A blade or a tube consists of inserts with different spreads to reach the right balance between reliability and the search for the optimum weight..

 

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

The R&D team has worked with a group of very high-level paddlers, which, combined to the Select Paddle staff and its huge experience in the engi-neering of composite materials, gives us a strong added value. Our team consists of experts in all disciplines, favoring knowledge transfer with our technicians. The many hours spent on the water and in the workshop enable us to constantly im-prove our range of products.
